    Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy

     

    University Teacher in Research Methods

     

    Open-ended and part-time (FTE0.5) starting 1st January 2022. 

     

    This is an opportunity to join Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy at Loughborough University, part of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. Loughborough Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in research, teaching and enterprise which span media and communication, sociology, criminology and social policy.  The School has an investment strategy to develop cross-disciplinary studies based around its core strengths and is in a strong financial and student recruitment position.

     

    Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with teaching interests across the subject areas, but in particular, research methods.  The candidate must have experience of teaching and will be expected to help lead teaching and contribute to other areas of the curriculum as required, including the delivery and development of BSc and MA programmes.

     

    Candidates are expected to have a PhD in a social science discipline, an active research profile, and the clear potential to contribute to the University Strategy of Building Excellence in a high-performing HE environment.
